Hourly Pay Range

  • $32-$35.02
  • Shift: Monday-Friday, hybrid schedule.

People Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to support people with developmental and intellectual disabilities through person-centered, trauma informed behavioral services. If you are a BCBA, LMHC, LCSW, or masters level clinician who wants to focus on meaningful behavioral work this role offers collaboration, stability, and impact.

What You’ll Do

You will serve as the clinical lead for behavioral supports within assigned programs. Your work will directly improve quality of life outcomes for people served.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Conduct functional Behavior Assessments
  • Develop and Revise Behavior Support Plans
  • Provide hands-on coaching and modeling to DSPs and program leads
  • Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions accordingly

What We’re Looking for

  • We welcome candidates who meet
  • ONE of the following:
  • Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related clinical field.
  • BCBA Certification
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW)
  • NYS License in Mental Health Counseling

Other requirements

  • Valid Driver’s license that meets agency policy
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred
