The physician is responsible for providing comprehensive functional medicine care, which includes approving supplements and medications, creating treatment protocols, and educating patients on medication and treatment plans from a functional medicine perspective. Duties also involve interviewing, assessing, and treating clinical patients seeking services like medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and peptide therapies.
Candidates must be capable of providing care from a Functional Medicine perspective, consulting with the Medical Director, and educating patients on wellness and prevention. Responsibilities include overseeing mid-level staff, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring accurate charting and coding for every patient encounter.
