The physician is responsible for providing comprehensive functional medicine care, which includes approving supplements and medications, creating treatment protocols, and educating patients on medication and treatment plans from a functional medicine perspective. Duties also involve interviewing, assessing, treating clinical patients, consulting with the Medical Director, and overseeing assigned mid-level medical staff.
Candidates must be capable of providing comprehensive medical services, analyzing test results to diagnose conditions, administering or prescribing treatments, and advising patients on wellness and disease prevention. The role requires maintaining strict patient confidentiality and ensuring accurate and timely completion of all charting and coding.
