The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the physician in providing direct patient care and health teaching tailored to the specific age and developmental needs of the patients. This role also involves clerical support such as record keeping, scheduling, order entry, and managing patient billing and payments.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care, along with current BLS certification. Experience in phlebotomy, laboratory testing, and OB/GYN is preferred, as is registration by a recognized Medical Assistant governing body.
