The role also involves administering vaccines, injections, medications, performing phlebotomy, point of care testing, and managing prior authorizations and prescription refills under supervision.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma/GED and either a Medical Assisting Program completion or 5 years of equivalent experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire, along with one of several recognized Medical Assistant certifications required within six months of hire.
