The Rehabilitation Activity Leader plans and facilitates both individual and group direct and indirect rehabilitation services while maintaining a therapeutic relationship with members served. This role involves leading therapeutic activity groups, assisting with unit supervision, managing activity program inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness of activity rooms.

Expected starting wage is $21.00. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, squat, kneel, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, bend, twist, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity and to occasionally drive and be exposed to uneven walking ground.

Candidates must possess at least one year of direct service experience in a mental health setting, be at least 18 years old, and hold a High School diploma or GED along with a California Driver's License. Required certifications include CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid, which must be obtained shortly after employment begins.
