This role involves assessing and treating individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse issues through individual and/or group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management. The provider also consults with medical staff and connects clients to appropriate social services to meet various patient needs.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a related behavioral health field (psychology, counseling, social work) and hold a valid Montana LCSW or LCPC license, or be a candidate in good standing (LCPC-C or SWLC). Required attributes include maintaining a calm demeanor, empathetic listening, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality rules.

The Behavioral Health team provides mental health and substance abuse counseling and treatment for patients and provides referrals to other community-based services.
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Social Worker Licensed Candidate (SWLC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Candidate (LCPC-C) position assesses and treats individuals with mental, emotional or substance abuse issues. Duties include individual and/or group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention and education. The position consults with physicians and other clinic staff to provide solution-focused care. The position coordinates and connects patients and clients to appropriate social services to meet the physical, financial, social and/or environmental needs of patients and their families as needed.
