The role involves performing patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures based on training and competency evaluations. These duties are delegated by and performed under the direction/supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent and hold an active certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic, with BLS required within 90 days of hire. One year of clinical or administrative experience is required, though phlebotomy experience is preferred.
