The Respiratory Therapist provides therapy aimed at stabilizing, preventing, or remedying patient respiratory issues by arranging and operating various therapeutic gas and medication delivery systems. This role involves operating mechanical recovery devices, regularly cleaning equipment, and accurately recording therapy data in patient charts.
Employment type: Part time
The minimum requirement is 24 hours per month, which equals two 12-hour shifts, 1830-0700. Additionally, one fall/winter holiday per year is required.
Nights: 6:30p to 7a

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA accredited program and hold current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana, along with CRT certification from the NBRC. Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy is preferred.
