The technician/scientist performs routine medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, which includes specimen processing, test performance, and reporting results under general supervision. Key duties involve maintaining quality control, documenting maintenance, recognizing and resolving issues affecting measurements, and communicating critical test results to authorized personnel.
Candidates must meet educational requirements for either MLT (Associate's degree) or MLS/MT (Bachelor's degree with specific clinical training/experience), with certification preferred or required for eligibility. Required knowledge includes laboratory policies, CLIA regulations, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Under general supervision and following established laboratory procedures, performs routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This position may also perform phlebotomy functions. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.
Qualifications: Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field and completion of a clinical laboratory science, or medical technology program from an accredited institution with one (1) or more years of experience in clinical laboratory (experience can include school laboratory training)
Microbiology: M-F 8am-5pm. Rotating weekends and holidays.
