The Technician-Patient Care performs patient care tasks and basic services under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include vital signs monitoring, patient mobility assistance, and maintaining a conducive environment for patients.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a CNA, AEMT/Paramedic, or MA is required, along with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
Performs patient care tasks and basic patient care services under the direction of the professional registered nurse. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
