The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice according to state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under RN supervision, the LVN/LPN maintains safety, provides patient comfort, and improves the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.
Candidates must possess a current and valid state license and a current BLS certificate upon hire, which must be maintained. Additionally, IV certification specific to the state is required upon hire.
The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state license2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. IV certification upon hire (state specific) Pay Transparency St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation rate for this role is $35.00. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
