The Phlebotomist will professionally engage patients by assisting with drawing blood, recording critical patient information in the EHR, and performing specimen processing like spinning, tagging, and bagging samples for lab send-out. Essential duties also include organizing patient flow, preparing and cleaning examination rooms, ordering supplies, and adhering strictly to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED along with current national certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting, and a minimum of two years of recent experience in a medical facility as a phlebotomist or medical assistant. Knowledge of laboratory techniques, medical terminology, and strong customer service skills are necessary, with eClinical Works and OB/GYN experience being strongly preferred.
We are currently recruiting for a Phlebotomist at Main Line OB/GYN in our Exton, PA location.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3pm
