The Part Time OR/PACU Medical Assistant will primarily assist as a scrub technician in the Operating Room, utilizing proper sterile technique and preparing rooms for all procedures. This role also involves cleaning equipment using the autoclave and providing direct assistance and comfort to the physician and patients during procedures.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and either completion of a formal medical assistant or scrub tech program or three years of relevant experience, along with current BLS certification. Essential qualifications include the ability to use computers, knowledge of office procedures, strong communication, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
