The sonographer must produce high-quality images meeting departmental standards using various imaging equipment and technology, while strictly adhering to safety guidelines for personnel and patients. They are expected to foster teamwork through effective communication and ensure a high level of patient service, maintaining flexibility across different work locations and shifts.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited sonography or radiography program and demonstrate organizational efficiency, multifunctionality, and excellent interpersonal communication skills. Registry eligibility is required, mandating ARDMS registration in RVT or RDMS within 6 months, with further certifications required subsequently, alongside current BLS certification.
