Responsibilities
Conducting patient intakes and obtaining detailed medical histories
Documenting treatments, diagnostics, and client communication in EzyVet
Managing client follow-ups, voicemails, and callbacks
Performing phlebotomy and catheter placement
Assisting with physical exams, chemotherapy administration, and diagnostic procedures
Preparing and collecting diagnostic samples including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates

Assisting with diagnostic imaging including radiographs, CT, and ultrasound
Monitoring anesthesia, sedation, and patient recovery
Supporting hospitalized oncology patients with ongoing treatments and nursing care
Communicating treatment plans, estimates, discharge instructions, and updates with clients
Filling prescriptions and performing in-house laboratory work
Collaborating closely with doctors and specialty teams to provide advanced, compassionate care
Qualifications
Active Veterinary Technician license (CVT, LVT, or RVT) required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
Experience in specialty medicine or oncology is a plus
Strong technical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, and patient monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
Solid understanding of veterinary medicine and common disease processes
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
