The primary function involves performing nursing duties in the Emergency Room, which includes assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care using advanced specialty clinical knowledge. Essential tasks cover proficient documentation, observing patient status, adhering to physician orders, and managing laboratory procedures and infection control.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred) and a minimum of two years of full-time RN experience in an ER or comparable setting. Required certifications include current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association, along with current state RN licensure without sanctions.
