Direct Support Professional (Day- Shift)

Wendell Foster is interested in hiring energetic Direct Support Professionals for our Intermediate Care Facility to join the team of #DifferenceMakers!

What matters to you: Hours- 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM 📆 Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week + every other weekend (Part-time & PRN opportunities available) New hourly rate starting at $16.00 Night-shift hourly differential of $2.00 Overtime availability 8 paid holidays each year Double time pay for holiday hours worked Earn Paid Time Off (PTO) Full benefits including; medical, dental, and vision insurance effective the first of the month after 60 days and pet benefits.

Tuition reimbursement program available On the job training Employee recognition give-a-ways throughout the year What matters to us: High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred Possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided) Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals Essential Functions: Support our individuals direct care needs including, but not limited to: Getting dressed, assisting with baths and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, feeding, Assist with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, occasionally preparing meals and snacks per dietary card Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.

Understand individual’s rights and display respect and dignity when interacting with individuals.
