This professional position involves providing direct patient care, which is mostly performed independently but requires clinical oversight. Employment is contingent upon meeting New Mexico state regulations regarding supervising physicians.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and maintain all required licenses and registrations, including state medical board licensure, DEA license, and CSR, by the date of hire. Additional requirements include obtaining BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days and successfully completing post-offer health screenings and immunizations.
This is a professional position involving provision of direct patient care. Although most activities are performed independently, clinical oversight is required. In accordance with New Mexico regulation, 16.10.15.11, Approval of Supervising Physicians, the supervising physician must submit written notice of intent to supervise physician assistant on forms prescribed by the board and these forms must be approved prior to the physician assistant beginning employment.
