The Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and walking patients, while also recording care given and monitoring vital signs. Responsibilities also involve turning and repositioning patients, changing linens, transporting patients and equipment, reporting variances to the RN, and participating in bedside shift reports.
Candidates must possess a current Wyoming Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from the Wyoming State Board of Nursing and must complete Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within fourteen (14) calendar days of the start date. Prior acute care experience or six or more months of experience as a CNA is listed as desirable.
