The role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This includes assisting in the maintenance of a safe environment within the unit.

Responsibilities

Assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered nurse in charge of the team and / or unit.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Certification for certified nursing assistant/attendant required Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office. BCLS within 3 months of hire and maintain current. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure. Requirements

Candidates must possess the required certification for a Certified Nursing Assistant/Attendant and demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, along with knowledge of Medical Terminology. Previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office is required, and BCLS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
