The APP will perform professional medical work including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients under physician supervision, developing treatment plans and making decisions regarding treatment changes based on patient condition evaluation. Essential functions also include completing thorough documentation, participating in clinical education, and potentially handling administrative tasks like protocol development and scheduling.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and maintain a required BLS-Basic Life Support certification from the AHA. The role involves performing medical duties within statutory limitations, requiring expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and collaboration within the Emergency Department setting.
