The role involves providing nursing care to multiple hospice patients within an in-patient hospice setting. This includes offering necessary care and education to both the patients and their designated caregivers.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Nursing Manager for Emergency Services, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.

Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.

To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions.

You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.

Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations Oversees the functional and technical job performance of team members Allocates and directs staffing needs to meet patient, unit and Hospital needs, and collaborates with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met Manages performance including: goal-setting, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognize, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our commitments using corrective action Monitors and oversee customer and patient engagement, growth, quality initiatives and patient safety for multiple departments, utilizing regulatory and organizational knowledge and policy for multiple areas as separate functions Coordinates and manages operating systems, operational standardization, service standards and communication methods in line with system policies and processes #LI-CHI #LI-CSH Job Requirements Required Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and minimum of three (3) years leadership experience Active RN license in the state of Nebraska Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Masters Degree Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire from the American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon hire from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Requirements

Candidates must possess an STNA certification issued by the Ohio Department of Health and current BLS Certification. Driving a personal vehicle is mandatory for this assignment, with mileage reimbursement provided.
