The Resident Assistant provides personal care to maintain or improve the physical and emotional well-being of assisted living residents, including support with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and feeding. This role also involves health-related support under RN supervision, such as monitoring vital signs and assisting with treatments or medication administration.

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our vibrant senior living in Minneapolis, MN.
This caregiver schedule includes; 32 hours every two weeks ; Part Time Day shift ; 6:30am-3pm Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Personal Care Assistance: Supports residents with daily living activities, including: Bathing Foot and fingernail care Shaving Dressing Hair care Feeding Toileting Assistance with hearing aids and/or glasses 1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical lifts Health-Related Support: Assists with treatments as outlined in individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (e.g., blood glucose monitoring). Administers or assists with medications, including insulin injections, as directed by a Registered Nurse. Takes and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Daily Living Support: May assist with household tasks including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities. Resident Observation & Reporting: Monitors and reports changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition (e.g., mood, appetite, weight). Communicates observations to appropriate staff and contributes relevant input to care planning. Acts as a mandated reporter, promptly reporting any concerns related to potential mistreatment. Emergency Response: Responds appropriately to resident needs and building emergencies, following established protocols. Required Qualifications less than 1 year of experience
