The Chaplain serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team, focusing on addressing the spiritual needs of patients, families, caregivers, staff, and volunteers. This involves providing pastoral care interventions, including counseling, based on spiritual assessments and sensitivity to diverse beliefs.
Candidates must possess ordination or commission for pastoral care ministry and be in good standing with their faith body, holding a Master's of Divinity or equivalent graduate degree and a Bachelor's degree. Preferred qualifications include five years of pastoral experience, with two in a clinical setting, and CPE certification.

The chaplain seeks excellence in pastoral care, which requires authentic demeanor, compassion and skill in dealing with the spiritual dynamics of illness, loss and death.
