The Pathologist Assistant performs gross description and dissection of human surgical specimens and postmortem examinations. They also assist with frozen section evaluations and intraoperative tissue staining under the supervision of a Pathologist.
Candidates must hold a Certificate of Completion in Pathology Assistant and obtain ASCP certification within one year. Experience levels vary, with specific sign-on bonuses offered based on years of experience.

Assists in the preparation and performance of human postmortem examination with subsequent dissection, submission of samples and dictation of gross findings.
