The technologist will support patient care by executing quality Mammography procedures and fulfilling other assigned duties within the department. This role involves gathering and communicating accurate information and education necessary for quality patient care, reporting to the radiology supervisor.
Candidates must possess an Associate degree from an accredited radiology technology school and hold current ARRT registration in good standing for both Radiography (R) and Mammography (M). A Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license is mandatory, and BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
Support patient care by performing quality Mammography procedures and other duties as assigned. Gathers and conveys accurate and appropriate information and education to support quality patient care. Supports the radiology department and reports to the radiology supervisor.
Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology school One year of experience as an ARRT (R) Must acquire ARRT (R)(M) within one year of hire Licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
