The CT Tech performs CT studies and procedures for patients across all age groups utilizing ionizing radiation for disease treatment. This role operates under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with radiologists, and may require overtime and call back.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college. New graduates have 90 days post-program completion to obtain ARRT registration and Texas Medical Board licensure, and must secure BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease. Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
