Our Patient Care Technicians are not just responsible for gathering patient information, assisting with meals, and tending to personal needs.
They also hold a crucial position as a bridge between our patients and their care teams, playing a significant role in ensuring our patients' comfort and well-being.This position floats between Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers.
Contribute to the assessment of the health status of our patients.
Communicates pertinent patient information to appropriate members of the treatment team with the direction of the Charge Nurse Assist patients/families with light housekeeping duties such as assisting with meals or changing bed linens.
Report any changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.
Job Requirements Required: High school graduate or GED equivalent Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in good standing valid to work in Arizona Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card (AHA BLS) Preferred: Six (6) months acute care hospital, long term care experience.
Previous experience with a patient care module or personal computer.
