Position Overview: Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) performs a variety of digital mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, wire localizations, galactography, biopsy procedures, DEXA exams, and quality control.
The Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) ensures high-quality care is provided to the patient while meeting the needs of the organization, regulatory agencies, physicians, and staff.
A working knowledge and experience in Digital Mammography, sterile technique, and documentation and record-keeping are essential for success in this role.
