About the role

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for producing diagnostic images, primarily X-rays, and potentially cross-training for CT/CAT scans, to aid radiologists in diagnosis and patient management. This role involves operating various imaging equipment while ensuring a positive patient experience through direct interaction and professional conduct.

In our Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more!

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays and cross train to CT/CAT scans if needed, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

What you'll do...

Utilize innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.

Act professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience.

Correctly operates fixed x-ray equipment, and portable x-ray machines as well as bone density scans, EKG's and heart monitors.

Obtain quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers and shielding.

Utilize electronic health record.

Utilize PACs system and all the essential functions of the system.

Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Associate's Degree or equivalent.

Medical Radiographer: ND (MRAD:ND) Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) within 12 - months of start date RADTECH

Requirements

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiology school, typically requiring an Associate's Degree or equivalent, and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. Registration with ARRT (Registered Technologist Radiography) is required within 12 months of the start date.
