The Chaplain collaborates with the Spiritual Care team to deliver pastoral care services to patients and their families, including responding to urgent situations such as codes or deaths upon request. The role also requires assuming personal accountability for upholding the organization's mission and core values.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in spiritual care or an equivalent, or meet specific criteria involving Roman Catholic deacon training/ordination, and must complete four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Maintaining current Board Certification from recognized organizations is also expected for those who have completed the required CPE units.
