The Occupational Therapist will help patients regain independence and quality of life by assessing diverse patients, developing treatment plans, and conducting evaluations daily. Responsibilities also include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting thoroughly, and maintaining high productivity standards.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations.

You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.

Meets or exceeds the productivity standard on an individual basis and at department level.

Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely.

Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development.

Participates on internal/external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval.

Completes general and specialty competencies appropriate to clinical area for patient care management (General, ICU, FIM, DBS, Lung Transplant, Behavior management, MBS, FEES, etc). #AZEVREHAB Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting Licensed by AZ State Board of Occupational Therapy American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate Preferred Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and possess Basic Life Support - CPR certification upon hire, along with the required Occupational Therapist license for Arizona. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Doctorate degree and 1-3 years of progressive clinical experience.
