About the role

The Sonographer will use advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of bodily structures, including fetuses, providing essential visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Responsibilities include interacting with patients, operating equipment meticulously, monitoring patient safety, evaluating images for pathologies, and presenting preliminary findings to Physicians.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements; initiates plan of care Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families Promotes patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care set by board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations **We are offering a $20,000 sign-on incentive to new hires who meet eligibility criteria*
  • Job Requirements Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of North Dakota (ND) Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) to be obtained within 12 months Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) One (1) year in the discipline

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate's degree and recent completion of a twelve-month internship in diagnostic ultrasound (with at least six months in General ultrasound) or equivalent recent experience. Required certifications include being a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, along with current Basic Life Support - CPR certification upon hire.
