This position involves floating to two levels of care across one or two facilities, requiring the RN to perform systematic assessments focusing on various patient statuses and formulate goal-directed, prioritized plans of care. The role also includes implementing care skillfully, establishing patient care priorities based on available resources, evaluating team effectiveness, and communicating effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
Required qualifications include a minimum of two years of general RN care experience and an Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent, along with a valid compact state or Arizona RN license. Candidates must also possess current American Heart Association certifications for ACLS and BLS, and PALS if floating to the Emergency Department or caring for young patients, plus demonstrate basic EKG competency.
