Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Advanced RN you will play a pivotal role within our healthcare team, contributing directly to the success of our practice at Saint Mary's Community Hospital. Triage patients, especially those in emergency situations, prepare and reset exam rooms, manage instrument sterilization, and procure critical medical supplies. Additionally, you'll conduct phlebotomy and lab procedures, communicate results to patients, obtain necessary consents, and provide essential patient and family education on healthcare management, disease processes, and treatments under provider supervision, upholding the highest standards of compliance and ethical practice. To be successful in this role, you will need a diploma or bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing, along with 1-3 years of related experience in a clinic, specialty clinic, or acute hospital setting. You must possess a current RN license in Nebraska (RN:NE) and Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) certification. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and computer proficiency are essential. Provider Support & Workflow Management: You will work closely with physicians to ensure efficient patient visits, including triaging patients, preparing exam rooms, managing medical supplies, and facilitating timely communication of lab results and educational content. Patient Education & Advocacy: You will educate patients and their families on healthcare management, disease processes, and treatment plans, ensuring informed consent and advocating for their needs under the direct supervision of healthcare providers. We are offering up to $5,000 as a Sign-on Bonus as well as up to $8,000 in Educational Assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
