This role is responsible for providing specialized GI nursing care to all patient populations undergoing GI procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural areas like Radiology, ED, and ICU. Essential duties include administering and maintaining sedation and analgesia, assessing patients, intervening in complications, and providing on-call coverage for regional hospitals.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred, and hold a current RN license from the Washington State Board of Nursing and a current Healthcare BLS Certification. Required experience includes previous GI Lab experience or a minimum of two years in acute care within the last three years, with IV competency required within four months.
