The Occupational Therapist provides a continuum of care for patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and physically related disorders, focusing on mobility training, strengthening, and specialized therapy techniques. This role utilizes the rehabilitation process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being for the patient.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, with Colorado state licensure required upon hire or within three months. Previous direct patient care experience in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab is preferred, as is prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).
