The Medical Assistant will assist providers by performing various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure smooth workflow within the department, including performing procedures within the MA scope of practice such as vital signs measurement, injections, and blood draws. Responsibilities also involve managing rooming, assisting with patient visits, informing providers of schedule changes, assisting with front office tasks, and reporting test results as directed.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or possess equivalent military training. A minimum of six months of customer experience and an active Washington State Medical Assistant – Certified licensure are required.
