The Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner delivers direct patient care for admitted patients, including obtaining history, performing exams, formulating diagnoses, and establishing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. Minimum requirements include a Master's Degree from an accredited nursing school and three years of clinical experience, along with active AZ Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience specifically as a Neurosurgery NP and relevant certifications like CNRN or CCRN.
