The CVOR Nurse will perform systematic assessments focusing on the patient's physiological and psychosocial status, formulating and implementing goal-directed plans of care based on determined nursing diagnoses and outcomes. Job Summary and Responsibilities As a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy. Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner. Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies. Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members. We are offering $10k relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Job Requirements Required Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent Nine (9) months of general or skilled Registered Nurse experience Valid compact state or Arizona RN license American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of the position Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent One year of circulating or a combination of scrub and circulating experience CVOR experience preferred for the Cardiac Surgery Service Team

Requirements

Minimum requirements include an Associate degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent, nine months of general or skilled Registered Nurse experience, and valid Arizona or compact state RN licensure. Required certifications are American Heart Association ACLS and BLS for healthcare providers, along with passing a basic EKG competency test.
