The Physical Therapist will help patients restore or maintain physical well-being, reduce pain, and improve quality of life by performing initial evaluations and developing individualized plans of care. Daily duties include providing direct treatments, meeting productivity standards, collaborating with the team, and promoting a positive customer service environment.

Where You’ll Work Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California.

We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years.

One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments.

You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

We are offering a $3,000 sign on to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements Required Completed an accredited physical Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA PT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA PT License and Previous experience as a PhysicalTherapist or Physical Therapist student/ intern Physical Therapist: CA, within 6 - months Basic Life Support - CPR Preferred Previous experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.

Requirements

Candidates must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care. Required qualifications include a Physical Therapist license in California and Basic Life Support - CPR certification upon hire, though one year of pediatric experience is required for those working in the NICU.
