Job Summary and Responsibilities A CommonSpirit Health Traveler RN is a direct clinical patient care registered nurse (RN) who provides independent patient care within their scope of practice.

The nurse is highly skilled in patient care; actively enhancing core nursing skills and developing advanced nursing knowledge skills abilities and behaviors through education and involvement in nursing activities beyond basic job requirements and responsibilities.

While you’re busy impacting the healthcare industry, we’ll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, tuition assistance, adoption assistance, and more! #LI-CSH Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health) ADN or Nursing Diploma Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA. additional credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state license and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies. Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.

Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse in specialty areas such as medical/surgical or intensive care, and hold an ADN or Nursing Diploma. A current unencumbered RN license and current BLS certification through AHA are mandatory.
