The Registered Nurse incorporates the nursing process and professional standards into daily practice, providing consistent care based on the patient's changing physical and psychosocial needs. Responsibilities include diagnostic monitoring, administering therapeutic interventions, managing rapidly changing situations, and serving as a patient advocate.
Required education includes an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent completion of an accredited Nursing Program, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred. Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS certification, along with proficiency in necessary nursing procedures and electronic health record documentation.
