The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing direct healthcare services to electrophysiology (EP) patients, streamlining procedure flow, and coordinating admissions and discharges according to approved standardized procedures. Key duties include entering pre/post-procedure orders, managing unexpected post-procedure complications, performing device interrogations, and providing patient education and counseling.
Candidates must possess a current California RN License, a California Nurse Practitioner RN License, and current BLS & ACLS certifications from the AHA. A Master's degree in nursing and certification as a nurse practitioner are required, along with a current or pending DEA number.
