The role involves evaluating patients and gathering necessary information for the diagnosis and treatment of medical issues within the Heart & Vascular Associates setting. The practitioner must demonstrate proficiency in emergency medicine patient care aspects, including medical management, while adhering to hospital medication and logging procedures.
Candidates must possess a Nurse Practitioner Degree and are preferred to have one to two years of relevant experience, though equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable. A current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner License is mandatory for this position.
Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem. Demonstrates proficiency in performing aspects of emergency medicine patient care, including medical management Follows hospital policy and procedure regarding medications and logs. Actively participates and contributes to hospital goals and initiatives.
Education Nurse Practitioner Degree Experience One to two years’ experience preferred. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner License Compensation/Benefits $48.20-$78.73/hr depending on previous work experience.
