Key responsibilities include collecting various specimens such as drug screens and blood samples, verifying orders using lab systems, and accurately performing all required data entry for patient registration and billing. The role also involves processing specimens, maintaining logs, and adhering strictly to departmental policies and procedures.
Candidates must possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and a commitment to all company policies, with medical training and phlebotomy certification being preferred.
