• Job Summary and Responsibilities The Physical Therapist (PT) (Acute) delivers quality therapy services to patients by performing evaluations and developing individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes.
• The PT implements the treatment program, reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in an OP setting.
• The PT is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice following the guidelines of the State of Texas Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy.
• Services are delivered within the framework of an interdisciplinary team approach, including the patient and significant others.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor Degree; Major in Kinesiology/Exercise Science or other Physical Therapy related field Licensed by the State of Texas, Physical Therapist BLS CPR certified, American Heart Association Minimum Experience: Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective Communication Knowledge of the principles and skills of the clinical process to provide patient care and treatment.
