The clerk is responsible for obtaining all necessary patient and insurance information, managing the check-in and check-out process, performing insurance verification, and collecting patient payments. This role supports efficient patient care and clinic flow while ensuring accurate document management.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, computer knowledge, one year of clerical experience, and six months of healthcare experience, preferably in a similar role. Candidates must also possess accurate 40 WPM keyboard skills and expertise in customer relations and telephone skills.
