The technologist will perform mammography exams and invasive procedures while strictly adhering to all established radiology and safety protocols. Responsibilities include operating mammography equipment, computer, and image management systems, as well as performing and assessing quality control measures on equipment and procedures.
Candidates must be ARRT registered as RT-(R) (M) and meet MQSA standards for performing mammography, in addition to maintaining current BLS certification. Required competencies include personal computer skills, good verbal communication, and the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills.
